Then i cleared CMOS, which didn't help either.
I read that and thought that you might have re-set to the defaults setting. Next time I will ask some body that. When you clear the cmos you always set it to the default settings.
That is when you do a update on the bois I always clear the cmos an than set it to the default setting. Do the update an than shut it down pull the plug.
Then I will clear the cmos and pull the battery. Wait 5 or 10 mins, unclear the cmos and put the battery back in and than set it to the default.
I have been updating bios for 20yrs and only had one fail power problem. Plus glad you got it work right again.
