Hello Gigabyte and all its members,
Recently I assembled my own PC, I chose to go with the Gigabyte GA-F2A88X-D3H for my motherboard and the AMD A-10 6800K Black Edition for my CPU.
On the completion of my build, I decided I would check the temperatures. Seeing as EasyTune was the software that had come with my motherboard I thought it would be safe and reliable. When looking at the temperatures I saw that it was running around 31oC on idle and around 45oC in high load. This is using the stock cooler. I then looked at another trusted third party application to measure my temperatures, it then showed me I was running at 50oC on idle! I was astonished. Bering in mind I am in around a 26oC ambient room temperature.
Due to the fact I was not happy with the results, I went out and bought a Corsair H55 Liquid cooling system. I fitted it. I then went back to easy tune and found out that I was running 21oC on idle, and around 30oC in high load. I was happy. I then decided to check the third party application and it said that I was running at 46oC idle, I then got similar results with my BIOS.
I am discouraged by the fact that my case is generally really cool, and my CPU feels it. Which applications temperature reading do I trust? I have applied new thermal paste, I have multiple fans, a good case with cable management and a high quality cooler.
If someone could point me in the correct direction I would be more than greatful.
