GA-H77TN - Need motherboard speaker

My standard (1 cm wide) speaker connector won't fit the speaker header on the H77TN. Gigabyte support says the speaker cable should have come with my AOI panel, but I installed the board in a Mini-ITX case that had no speaker. Any ideas on where to order such a part, or even what to search for? All I can find are speakers for "desktop" builds.

That's what I thought, too, but the ones I have don't fit. I asked Gigabyte but all they said is that "standard case speaker for motherboard cannot be used on this AIO system board". Not terribly helpful.

It looks like the speaker header is designed to connect to  3W, 4 Ohm stereo speakers using JWT A2001H02-4P. I might have to put something together myself just to hear the POST sounds.

I haven't had a speaker hookup on my MB's for years. Just like I stop using sound cards almost 10 yrs ago.

What I would do if you have one of the little speaker that I put up. Just cut the black connecter in 1/2. then trim it down and put it on.

It should be easy to cut the connector in two and then attach to the relevant header pins
on the motherboard ie GND and +Ve
I had this problem a few years ago and it was an easy fix using a stanley knife....the wires are
well seperated and you can trim the two halves down to whatever size you want.

Looking at the motherboard manual on page 24 the weird looking connector shows four pin connections L+ L- R+ R-

I would slice your connector in two (or buy another mobo header speaker on ebay etc) trim it down
and then attach to one of the channels.....
