Hello everyone

I'm trying to get my mobo GA P35 DS3R to work. (rev2.1)
Everything boots correctly. POST is fine
Then when it tries to initialize the network controller REALTEK 8111B it reboots in a loop.
The bios option to disable H/W LAN has disapeared so i cannot deactivate it.

Now this guys seems to ha ve found a fix:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JxdlOrpB5kg

I just don't understand what he does exactly at the end of the video to reactive it. He seems to drive a 1.8v in the lone pin.
But then what? i mean i'm a noot in electronics but don't you need to connect another pin in order to get the thing working?
I don't have a bench power supply how can I dothis fix any suggestions?

I don't really want to buy a new motherboard if i can fix this thing myself.
any help would be greatly appreciated

He would have made the circuit to earth -likely to psu case or other earth point on mobo to fool the initial check .
This enabled him to enter bios and then disable it...........
