ga-b75n graphics card problem

ga-b75n graphics card problem
« on: January 31, 2014, 11:29:21 am »
hello lads and lady's of the forum!  i came here for a bad reason sadly  :'(

my ga-b75n is a little problematic and im having trouble making it work with my evga graphics cards. it works fine with an old 8800gtx but when i try either of my gtx 760 or 770, they are both not detected. ive tried changing settings such as the pcie gen as well as the boot loader settings.
also i have tried changing ram speeds in a wild thought to see if this was the problem.
i have tried every bios for the card with no luck so its now at the version 5 (latest)
everything works on the board fine and is running right now other than these two graphics cards ): does anyone have any idea what's going on and how to solve this? it would make me most happy  :D
i have already contacted evga about my problem and after being told to do certain things, that didn't work they sent me to gigabyte instead :D

my system specs are:
i5 2500k
ga-b75n
4gb pny ram
corsair gs800
evga gtx770 or gtx760
(current running card is 8800gtx)
1tb western digital black
samsung 840 120gb

thanks for reading and i hope someone knows what's going on!
thanks
-lord

I know this shouldn't really matter but the CPU doesn't support 3.0 cards. One other thing is does it give you the option to change the setting for the PCI-e slot from legacy to UEFI. You might have to set it to UEFI if you can.
