I have a z77x-ud5h with an intel 3770k and it runs great after clean win 7 install. However after some windows updates, it will always hang on a warm reset or boot. Disabling some setting in the bios will buy you time, however the boot loop issue will still appear out of blue one day. And it will never go away once it appears.

Now for the permanent solution.  The VTT CPU voltage is set a tad too high which causes this problem. In the bios go to CPU VTT voltage setting in the 3D view or to the Profile VTT Voltage in the advanced settings view.

Now change the voltage setting for the VTT CPU Voltage from 1.100V to 1.050V.   That simple adjustment fixes the boot loop problem permanently.

This solution works with different gigabyte Intel CPU Motherboards. I told gigabyte to make this change in their bios of all their motherboards and they just gave me the run around.

The new 45 nm  processors require less voltage to run and gigabyte doesn't understand that. They also do not know how to listen to their customers  to fix problems.
