Hello there

So here is my story ...
I replaced i5 4670K by new i7 4790K ... i has F8 BIOS , BEFORE  i replace CPU i reset BIOS to default ....
so all those is with default F8 settings .

 then my story start  :

1st restart - BIOS detect new cpu . vcore -1,357 V
2th restart - BIOS detect new cpu . vcore -1,235 V
3th restart - BIOS detect new cpu . vcore -1,452 V
4th restart - BIOS detect new cpu . vcore -1,487 V !·!!!!!!!

at this moment , i manualy changed vcore to 1.235 V .... cba burn my new cpu ...

I just hope to you guys working on properly detect  vcore by this MB  ?

Hey, I have the same exact problem.

If I set the core voltages to be automatically changed by MB then it sets it to >1.4v in turbo mode and >1.2v without turbo boost.

And that is really annoying, I want to have everything at auto so the cpu wont run always @ 100% clockspeed if not needed and so on, only under load. I haven't figured out a solution so I just locked the core voltage @ 1.200v with turbo boost on and now my Core i7-4790K runs @ constant 4.4GHz and 1.200v which isn't ideal... :(

Anyone knows a solution for this? Does the new beta bios work better regarding this problem?
