I am building a new pc,and will be using XP. In order to install XP with the controllers in AHCI or RAID mode, you MUST use a floppy in order to install the drivers at the beginning of Setup, or XP will not see the hard drive. I will be using 2 New Sata drives on this build.Below is my motherboard specs. Can I hook up a floppy drive to this motherboard.

Hi there, yes this board will support a Floppy Drive.

However, just on a personal note, I don't like to install a Floppy Drive in my rigs these days so I got hold of a cheap USB Floppy drive from PC World and now use this for Driver installs.
Remember, when all else fails a cup of tea and a good swear will often help! It won't solve the problem but it will make you feel better.

Then when your friends come across a similar situation you can lend it to them, earning yourself a pint or two! ^_^
