GA-H61MA-D2V USB3 not showing in BIOS
« on: August 17, 2014, 04:54:27 pm »
I know this is a fairly old m/b but I am trying to use USB3 for first time since Dec 2012 installation.  BIOS doesn't show enable/disable USB3 where it is supposed to be in Peripherals section. All drivers for O/S (win 7 64) are installed.

Ver 2.1 of m/b.  BIOS version F6

Tried Gigabyte support but they referred to manual.  Had to send them screen dumps showing entry wasn't there and since they have gone ery quiet!!!

Any ideas...

Thanks

just because it isn't in bios doesn't mean you don't have them. I have a newer motherboard and there is no setting in my bios for usb3.  As long as drivers are installed they should work.
