990fxa-ud3 not reconizing mouse and keyboard once OS Boots
« on: September 03, 2014, 02:57:44 am »
hey guys! just bought and installed said MOBO with a fx8350, mouse and keyboard work fine in bios, but when the os boots (win7) they go dead, i enables IOMNN or whatever its called with still no luck, all i could find regarding the issues were with lunix systems, really weird.

to make sure my USB ports were working i plugged in a usb device and it was charging even after the os was booted. still no mouse/keyboard though.

tried a fresh install of the os but again once it installed system files completely lost the use of mouse keyboard. could not continue install. any ideas, suggestions? am i doing something wrong in bios?

thanks guys!

Does your 'board respond to a PS/2 keyboard? How are the USB settings in the (UEFI?) BIOS?
Search. Discovery is curiosity's reward.
