Ga-970a-Ud3 v1.1 with FX-4130 processor, multiplier locked to 9.0x

I have adjusted the bios settings to set the multiplier to 19x and the over-drive utility confirms this. I disabled the turbo feature as well as all the green options in bios, and yet no matter what, the board will not run better than 1800mhz on each of the four cores. I've updated the BIOS and adjusted to a number of different multiplier settings, and only 9.x is what it gives me. Nothing I do with the PC seems to 'force' the CPU to run at its rated speed; however, I can adjust the FSB and those minute changes do affect the CPU speed and benchmark.

Does anyone have any specific settings to change (or not change?) to allow me to run this chip at its proper speed, if not overclock it some?

Thanks!

Have you tried clearing the CMOS?
Search. Discovery is curiosity's reward.
