Which CPU are you using?

How much RAM are you using?

Does your GA-990FXA-UD3 (rev. 3.0) still work?

The RAM you listed...

The board works with the rescue DualBIOS

I'm currently using a AMD Phenom II X6 1090T accompanied with nvidia 780

My uses are mainly games high with RV Oculus Rift, my main problem is that the performance of the 1090T is falls short of bandwidth causing bottleneck, so as I am overcloked fsb 210 to core 3800ghz with uncovering the bottle.

then to avoid buying a whole new computer. I bought oulet 990FXA-UD3 GA-to put the new processor offer and save me memory and hopefully get to the end when you leave Skylake

well because if I can not mount a 8370 ??? FDJ because the bios is incompatible with the memory, I can ride a 8350 report that this now works ???

I feel my English attends google

How much RAM are you using?

Did you use the Phenom II X6 1090T in your attempt to update the GA-990FXA-UD3 (rev. 3.0)'s BIOS/UEFI to version FDj?

yeah sure I have not commented well, thanks for your support and patience

Now use the bios FC, with the amd 1090T and am 8GB 4 modules khx1600C9AD3B1 / 2G and it is working now

FDJ use the bios using this memory and micro bios amd 1090T and died

would have to try again? my memory may have the new bios?

I understand that if 8350 149€ vs 8370 199€ is almost the same in performance but 8370 is slightly better ...

but if I can not upgrade to 8370 8350 obviously, but wanted to know if gybabite take out a new bios since the FDJ is beta ...

You are using BIOS version FC? Good. That is the one I would stay with since version FDj is a Beta.

The FX-8370...

- is only momentarily 2.5% faster than the FX-8350 (during boost)--a difference that one is unlikely to perceive.
- requires BIOS  FDj Beta to work (yuk).
- costs 50€ more than the FX-8350 (a processor which has an established and well respected track record going back to October 2012).

If I were in your position I would go with the tried & true FX-8350 and put the 50€ difference towards a supported 2x8GB, 1600MHz RAM kit (the fastest RAM your motherboard can take if you wish to use 4 DIMMs):

ValueRAM for Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 Motherboard

Reliability is the cornerstone of true performance. Accept no substitute.

One more thing: I would avoid DIMMs which have tall heat spreaders. They are not needed on 1600MHz (or slower) RAM and only serve to interfere with the installation of some large CPU coolers.
