Any chance on a GTX 980 G1 with a full cover waterblock?

Hi, I've just made some component purchases for my latest build. One of them was the Z97X G1 Black.

Of course I'm going water and utilizing the block on the MB. The last part I'm waiting on is 2 or 3 GTX 980's, either coming with blocks or buying them separate.
But to be honest I wouldn't mind using the G1 card. I really like the idea of using two 8 pins so the cards are more stable when I overclock them. Plus it'd be nice having a minor theme in the build.

I've also noticed that EKWB says they have a full cover block coming soon for the G1. At least that's what it says when I check the cooling configurator and enter the G1.

What are the chances that Gigabyte could market a G1 with the/a waterblock factory installed? I know it would make my life easier. So how about giving EVGA a run for their money in the watercooled videocard market Gigabyte?
