Z77X UD3H Error 53
« on: October 27, 2014, 08:02:16 pm »
Apparently it's memory related, but the system worked outside the case and i get error 53 when it is inside the case.

It beeps on startup and the Debug LED shows error 53.

The cpu fan starts to spin to 100% then a sec later it stops (and system stops).

There is an endless bootloop if i leave the PSU on. I tested multiple PSUs (XFX 450W and evga g2 750W) and once i took it out of the case i still get error 53.

I'd appreciate some help QUICKLY (something that is very rare on this forum...even getting a response is out of the ordinary).

Thanks

When it is outside the case if you reset cmos do you still get a memory error. Also you can run memtest to see if the memory actually is causing the error.

If it works outside the case than when you put it in. You might be shorting out the board on some thing.

Make sure you don't have one of those little standoff in the wrong place.

Well looks like the error magically went away simply by waiting. I have a second problem now. The computer boots then crashes...then tries to boot again and crashes within a second. Then i can't start it up anymore for 30 mins. I can get into the  BIOS, but then it crashes soon after.

I don't have windows installed so i can't test anything (if it keeps crashing how do i install windows? -.-)

I thought the same thing, i checked everything and it looked fine. All standoffs are correctly installed and nothing conductive is touching the motherboard. Please read the post above for my new problem

What memory are you using. Could you please include some system specs too thanks.
