My fans wont spin to the profile i setup unless i go into App center then system information viewer.  I have to do this each time i boot up.  Is there an easier method? Thx

I dont see what most of that has to do with the gigabyte app doesnt work on boot that i have to manually open the program for the fan curve to kick in.

ud5h first rev
F5 bios
i5 4690k
win7 pro
no overclocking

I fixed it but its not satisfactory.  I just put the shortcut to SIV in startup menu.

App center doesn't work on either of my boards just wondering if you have same board as me.

I guess adding a shortcut doesnt fix the issue :(  I still have to manually change it each time

i have the same problem which i reported here http://forum.giga-byte.co.uk/index.php?topic=15138.0

i never received an answer which is a bit weird, i thought this is an "official" gigabyte forum  >:(

edit:
noticed this thread where someone else seems to have the same issue:
http://forum.giga-byte.co.uk/index.php?topic=14939.msg92951#msg92951
i wonder why gigabyte hasn't fixed this yet.

the problem seems to be that thermald.exe has to run as a process....not sure why it didn't run on my machines after bootup.

this person made a little tool that ensures thermald.exe running by the way:

after i ran thermald.exe manually once, the problem seems to hve been solved for me so i wont need the little tool myself (wonder if you just couldnt put  shortcut in the startup folder intead of having to run this tool, oh well).

anyway, save to say my next motherboard won't be a gigabyte....their hardware is good but the software is weak.

come to think of it, since i read the following i even start to doubt the hardware relating to fancontrol now...check this post out:

wow...gigabyte got some splaining to do  :o

fyi, according to gigabyte System Information Viewer B14.1106.1 update should fix the problem of not activating fanprofile behaviour after system bootup.

for me it seems to be working.
