What you can try is uninstall everything you have to do with that wireless card. Reboot but this time go to device manager and just install the drivers and not all the software.

It is not a wireless card. I don't use wireless. Too slow and too unstable. The GB NIC on the motherboard.
As it turns out I had to reinstall Windows.
After installing I did not install the Qualcomm drivers for network. I could not manually install just the drivers, or select only the drivers during installation.
I started windows without network manager software running. I could not activate Windows, Do a Windows update or perform any internet related activity, except browsing, and even somes site would time out.
As soon as I started the Network Manager, I could activate windows, run Windows update and everything else.
I tried sourcing the E2201 drivers from other places but could not find anything that works.
Bottom Line; If I want to use this motherboard I Have to put up with this application running maximized at start up, with its rather ugly Windows 8 style interface, and manually close it every time.
Unless anyone has any other solutions? ) Other than installing third party software to forcefully minimize the app).
If no solutions are available I am willing to scrap the Gigabyte Mobo and find another brand, but I'd rather not.
