Power on by mouse
« on: April 04, 2015, 02:41:20 am »
I have a Gigabyte Gaming GT motherboard. Had it a couple of weeks, but I have not been able to get the power on by mouse working. I've tried Move and double click, and I have ErP disabled.

The mouse is a Razer Taipan USB mouse.

I've tried it in all USB ports on the motherboard.

How can I make this work?

thanks
Tanya

If you go into your BIOS, look for the tab  POWER MANAGEMENT,  and you will find the options there.

Thanks for your reply.

I hoped the fact that I said I had tried "move" and "click" and "ErP disabled" might have given a clue that I had actually tried various BIOS settings.

As I said, no setting makes it work.

Would appreciate some assistance.

thanks
Tanya

Look at your PSU. Note: To use this function, you need an ATX power supply providing at least 1A on the +5VSB lead.
