CASE DOCKING STATION

CASE DOCKING STATION
« on: April 27, 2015, 09:29:04 am »
I have a G1 Sniper Z97 in a Thermaltake Chaser Mk 1 case with a  top HDD docking station and since I've  upgraded my bios from F4 to F6 the docking station no longer works even after  I went into the cmos and made sure the Sata mode setup was set to AHCI.

Is there any other setting that I might have missed that would stop my PC reading a drive in the docking station ?

What port on the board do you have that plug into. After you update the bios did you clear the cmos and set it to default settings? Or at lease set it to the default settings.

I have it pugged into sata port 3 and no I never cleared the cmos on the board itself after updating the bois I just reset the board to default values in cmos settings .

When I plug a drive into the docking station I can hear the drive spinning up ok but windows is not detecting it
