GA-MA790FX-DS5 Frequent Restart

I know that this is an older mobo, but I'm hoping that there is still someone who might be able to help me to get my computer working properly, again. When I originally built this computer, I believe that I had Windows XP loaded on it. I don't believe that there were any problems at that time. I later upgraded to Windows 7. This was several years ago, and I don't remember when I exactly started having problems with the computer restarting. Originally, it was relatively rare and seemed random. Then it began to happen more often and seemed related to transferring files. I had the computer set up with 3 drives. There was a system drives and then 2 drives set up for RAID mirroring. Whenever putting photos or music on or off of the storage RAID, the computer would eventually restart. Also, running flash games, like a facebook, would cause a restart. This progressively worsened to the point that the system would restart, often within just a few minutes after booting. The computer could be run in safe mode without any problems. I had read somewhere that Windows 7 might have a problem with this motherboard, so I decided to try installing Windows 10 Preview to see if that would operate better. Initially, there were no problems, so I started loading the software that I use regularly: Chrome, Quicken, Media Monkey, and Citrix. Then the same problems started again. The other problems was the RAID array was separated into 2 drives now, which did not match each other. I had noted the under Windows 7, when I looked at the RAID information within the system information, it had said that they weren't mirroring. In Windows 10 device manager, the RAID drivers had not installed. Now the computer can't run more than just a few minutes without restarting. Again, it seems to operate fine in safe mode. The system configuration is as follows:

OS: Windows 10 Preview Build 10162
BIOS: Award F8a
CPU: AMD Athlon 7850 2800Mhz
Graphics: Radeon HD 5450 x2. Originally for 2 separate monitors. Now running a single monitor in SLi

Please let me know if there is any other info needed to figure out what is going on.

When was the last time you clean the inside of the computer? In safe mode it is like you are running in DOS. One way you can check to see what is running. Go into Task Manager and check to see what is running. Plus how much the CPU & Memory are being used.

That is when you are in windows not safe mode. If you are Idle the CPU should be between 0 to 5%. If you going up 70% to 100% then something is running and might be causing the problem.

When was the last time you clean the inside of the computer?

It's been a year or so since I've really cleaned the inside of the computer. It had already started doing the restart, thing, though at the time. Not as severely as it is, now, though. I did open the case yesterday to verify solid connections on the HDD's. I didn't blow it out, but there wasn't a bunch of dust collection on anything. Is there anything else that I should be checking inside the case? (I'm assuming that you're suggesting this to make sure that nothing is overloading.)

Do you have a video card in the computer. If so check to see if it is get really hot. Most of the time it is heat that causes these problem. It isn't shutting down just restarting. Checking the bridges on the motherboard to see if one is get to hot.
