GA-Z77X-UD3H Via USB
« on: August 03, 2015, 07:56:11 am »
Hi all,

I hope some one can help me please..

When I did an upgrade the Via USB worked okay...  I needed to clean install and its not working...

I have tried installing the Win8.1 / Win8 and Win7 drivers and none of them work...

The initial error is with Usb xHCI Compliant host controller - when installed that is okay but then I get an error with the USB Hub (Code 10)

Can someone please help - will windows 10 drivers be available soon for this?

Thanks

What USB driver are you trying to install. Is it USB 3.0? That driver should be on you Motherboard disk. USB 2 works without drivers till windows loads and updates them. Yes windows 10 does load USB 3.0 drivers.

I used the motherboard drivers from the gigabyte website

The VIA ports did not work at all when first going into windows with error in device manager... (USB2 or USB3)

I have tried the Windows 8.1 64bit (4.20), Windows 8 64bit (6.1.7600.2108) and Windows 7 64bit (6.1.7600.2108)....

Any ideas?

What OS are you using? If it is ten there are going to be bugs. If it is ten I don't what to tell. Here is link to your drivers.

OK I will post this to help others with this motherboard :)

I upgraded to the latest bios and it fixed the problem with the standard Microsoft drivers
