Memory stability issues with Gigabyte GA-Z170X-Gaming 5

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Getting random software crashes, random bsod, and lock ups. Ive had this setup for a couple weeks, and everything was running nice and smooth. Had all the intel and app center programs installed and running just fine. Noticed that one of the app center programs, called "Smart Time Lock" was using a sh@ ton of memory, so i uninstalled it. Thats when everything went to sh@. App center stopped working all together. Uninstalled app center and all its affiliated programs, and cleaned the registry, and re-installed from disc. Worked for a day, then app center would stop working all together. Downloaded the latest version of app center from gigabyte, it installs, but wont launch.
I have F2 bios, but only because it failed to upgrade to F3 threw app center. Haven't tried to flash to F3, as I'm afraid nothing will work then. AVG also says that parts of App center is a trojan, which i made an exception for.
Did a memory test threw windows, and it says it found hardware problems. Dont know if this is caused by the app center, easy tune, not working, or? When i first installed the memory and ran the ms memory test, it tested just fine. It wasnt until after app center stopped working that i got memory errors. Get errors with xmp and without.
Sorry for the extra long post.

Triede reinstalling windows ? Seems like something in that Smart Lock might have messed something up in the windows install.

Before resorting to reinstalling windows, please try >sfc /scannow from a elevated command prompt and verify the integrity of your OS system files.

I reinstalled Win 7, and was still having stability issues. Reset my F2 bios to "optimized defaults" and my problems disappeared. Ran windows memory diagnostic, and it found no hardware problems, ran sfc /scannow as admin, and it found no problems either.
Weird thing is, i tried optimized defaults before, and was still getting bsod, and errors. It wasn't until i tried a memory setting in bios that would not boot the system, then the bios popped up after an unsuccessful boot up, and asked me if i wanted to set to set the bios to "optimized defaults" and boot windows. After i did this, it was stable.

Thanks for everyone's help!!
