Creative Soundblaster

My Gigabyte Z97X G1 Gaming came with software called SoundBlaster Recon3Di. Whenever I plug my headphones into the rear audio socket of the motherboard, I hear a terrible kind of constant static noise. The same goes for using the line-out to speakers. This is from using the on-board sound system built into the motherboard. I'm not using a separate sound card. Is there something wrong the board itself or can this be fixed?
Thanks.

I'm not an expert at PC's.
But, without the software, do you get the same issue?
You state your using on-board/integrated audio/sound card. I think you'l need to buy a creative sound blaster PCI Card for this to function properly (At a guess)
