GAP35ds3r Fan speed Control version 1.x
« on: April 02, 2010, 02:33:47 pm »
Hi,
I "Lost" a blade of my wpm fan on my heatsink and everything vibrated at speed (not funny really) so being a meany i thought good heatsink ill get a pwm fan of ebay (80mm) and a pwm (120 mm) fan low noise and put it on sys-fan 2. Both Fans have 4 pin headers the 80mm which fits on ny cooler nicely spins at 2000 rpm. its a case fan really (Arctic and it has a 4 pin header socket floating off it for the cpu cooler) but i have it in the 4 pin cpu header. Cant get system to recognise it so it goes full tilt. if i could pwm it it would be totally silent. I was thinking of using speedfan if necessary. Any advice would be gratefully recieved . 120mm case fan on sys-2 seems to  be stuck at one speed despite it being a 4 pin wpm (i presume) header
