I case this helps someone, solved the problem by getting a 4GB RAM stick that's present in the memory compatibility list (Crucial CT4G4DFS8213). The first time I turned the computer on it rebooted again but then it booted.

Updated the BIOS from the original F5 to F7, placed the two HX426C15FBK2 sticks back in and it recognized them fine.

I have a GA-Z270-HD3P and had a "5-beep" problem as well. It was caused by Ultrafast Boot. Regular Fast Boot doesn't have that issue.

5 beeps is usually related to what absic, dmdilks and myself had indicated earlier.

CPU
Power
Memory

Some examples:

CPU - bad, bent pins, not properly seated in socket.  CPU not supported with current BIOS rev.  The memory controller is also located in the CPU
Power - Insufficient or weak power (low amperage) might cause this behavior
Memory - May not work if its not on the QVL.  Faster memory won't work on a board when a non "K" series CPU is used when OC is required for faster RAM (above 2133Mhz).
