WOL (GA-H170-D3HP)

WOL (GA-H170-D3HP)
« on: January 13, 2016, 11:29:10 pm »
I'm trying to set up WOL on my GA-H170-D3HP but I can't seem to figure it out. In my BIOS I have the WOL feature turned on, and ErP is turned off. I use DDNS, that points to the correct location. The NIC (wired) has the relevant WOL settings enabled (both Power Management and the advanced setting to wake on magic packet). When I test receiving the magic packet with the computer on using Magic Packet Sniffer it does come through. I'm using DD-WRT on my router, it has ports 7 and 9 forwarded as well as a static lease for my computer.

I can wake the computer from both DD-WRT and my phone app if it's within 5 seconds or so of having shut down, but anything longer than that and it won't work. Any ideas as to why this isn't working?
