GA-P55-US3L - Problem to get CORSAIR memory to work
« on: January 29, 2016, 09:54:52 am »
Dear all I have this mainboard: GA-P55-US3L with the latest FH firmware

For some reason I cannot get this memory to work with it: http://www.scanmalta.com/scanshop/4gb-corsair-ddr3-pc1333-9-9-9-24-memory-lifetime-warranty.html

I have been told it should work but it aint! PC keeps rebooting and I cant get into BIOS. With another pair of 4GBs (Kingston) it works like a charm.

Is there something in BIOS I need to change before I connect them?

Thanks a lot!

Try clearing the cmos and then set the default setting.

Shall I do that from BIOS or remove the battery from the mainboard?

I have two boards p55-ud3 & p55-ud4p with that same memory on them. They work fine with that memory.
