GA-Z87-HD3 : No Boot

GA-Z87-HD3 : No Boot
« on: February 19, 2016, 01:45:26 pm »
Alright so my PC specs are:
Intel® Core™ i7-4770K
16 GB [8 GB x2] DDR3-1600 (Corsair)
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760
Gigabyte GA-Z87-HD3
500 Watt - Corsair CX50
1tb hard drive / 250gb ssd

So basically yesterday I did nothing really special (gamed mainly). I turn off my computer and today when I turn it back on it is stuck at the gigabyte splash screen. I wait for ~30min (normally my computer boots in under one) and I end up deciding to hit the hard reset button on my computer. When I do it just boots up normally and everything works 100% fine. If I power down my computer though I will be stuck at the splash screen once again until I press the reset button. Is there any way I could find out what's causing this issue? (Note: I did change my mouse and keyboard like.... 2months ago? But I honestly don't believe that could be the cause of it)

Try to re-seating things one at a time. Like memory, video card, DVD, HHD & so on. I had one the other day that computer just back screen shut down and would not boot back into windows. It turn out that DVD drive when bad. Replace the drive it has been fine ever since. I would even try re-seating both power plugs too.

Alright I'll try that. I'm pretty sure it's not a specific part though just because If I hard reset I can still get info my computer and there are no errors. I mean if my Video Card was failing I would surely see it after a few minutes of use right? I'll update later tonight when I have more time to rip into my computer.

Edit: Could it have maybe something to do with my power supply? Since resetting my computer makes it work I assume the reason it's failing might be not enough power when it's booting?
