GA-Z170MX-GAMING 5 : Not booting
« on: July 13, 2016, 01:21:59 pm »
Just bought this brand new and plugged everything in and it turns on for for 2 seconds then off for a second then on again in a loop. I see no lights on the board (not sure if it's supposed to or not) and hear no sounds.

I've tested the PSU (EVGA Super Nova 550 GS) and it works fine. I'm using an Intel i7 6700K as well. Could I not have enough power?

Anyone know what's possible going on?

So I figured out the issue....I forgot to plug in the 8 pin CPU cable from the power supply....

So dumb, but it working now and I'm in the BIOS!!  :)
