Z170mx-gaming 5 can't update to bios f5

I have the 1.0 revision of this board and I've tried updating via @bios and via the uefi bios update utility on startup. Both fail on the verification with an error "bios part number is incorrect". I can download and flash f4 just fine. Anybody else run into this?

I'm having a lot of issues with memory and wanted to use f5 because of the update xmp profiles.

What Rev. board do you have 1.0 or 1.1? Plus it is F5e on both. Make sure you downloading the right Rev. # board Bios.
