Hi I had windows 8 working fine on a GA-EX58-UD3R mother board with a Nvidia gtx 970 card. I upgraded to Windows 10 and all was fine for about 5 months. Two weeks ago I started getting a bluescreen error "dpc_watchdog_violation" but was unable to repair the error and the backup windows image or restore point wouldn't work. I managed to take off the files I needed and did a clean reinstall of windows 10. It starts up for about 3 minutes but again gives the "dpc_watchdog_violation" error. I presume this is linked to driver issues on windows 10....is my only alternative to reinstall windows 7 or is there some form of a work around to get existing drivers working in compatibility mode on a windows 10 pc ? If anyone has been in this situation and can give me some advice I'd appreciate it.
