disabling uefi security

Specs:
Gigabyte GA 970 Gaming SLI
AMD 3+ processor
BIOS A802BG0J F1 (1/28/16)

This is probably a simple question. I am trying to install Fedora 24 on a Seagate Barracuda 3tb SATA III drive. When I boot with the install disk, the UEFI option does not appear in the boot options menu. When I boot with a Windows 7 install disk I get the option. I know the Fedora install disk is good, I was able to use it to install on a SATA I drive. I have read somewhere the UEFI security sometimes does not read the key properly and should be disabled, but I can not find the option in the BIOS. Anyone know how I can find it?

Have a look at your Secure Boot settings in BIOS.
