Advice needed
« on: April 24, 2010, 10:58:11 am »
I have always used Gigabyte mobo's.  I'm about to upgrade to an am3 processor and I need a board that will support 2 ati cards in crossfire as well as an additional pci-e for my sound card.  I need to keep the costs down so I have a budget of about £120 for the board.  Recommendations please

Hi

Which processor are you looking at and also what memory DDR2 or DDR3?
Remember, when all else fails a cup of tea and a good swear will often help! It won't solve the problem but it will make you feel better.

the GA-MA790XT-USB3 is the latest version of my current board GA-MA790XT-UD4P
this is an AM3 board with DDR3 ram slots and two crossfire slots with loads of cool features and sells for about £99

saw it on ebuyer and my older version of the board is awesome.
