is there away to make z77x-ud3h bios boot NVMe pci
i have
Samsung 960 EVO Series - 500GB PCIe NVMe - M.2 and Asus PCI3.0 4 M2 4 1 3PIN 32GBIT SUP PCIE SSD
it works fine in windows but i want it to boot the windows

Gigabyte supports NVMe on many Intel Series 9 Chipset motherboards with a BIOS update. Gigabyte has no plans to offer NVMe support on legacy Series 8 or Series 7 Chipset motherboards such as the Z77 Chipset Z77X-UD3H.

but am afraid to play with bios i don't want my motherboard to be dead  but i have dual bios is it safe to modding the main bios

Did look at what I put up to see if it is there. If windows see it then the bios should see it. So you should be able to make it a boot drive. Yes it should work but you really will not have the performance out it as if you were running as a true M2 drive like in a Z170 board. Plus you might have to add drivers when installing windows.

there is no option to pick to boot from pci and the bios boot list dose not see it

I have a GA-Z77X-UD4H and with the guide from WinRaid (Fernando) i succeeded to boot and install Win10 x64 on a Samsung SM961 256GB. So if you want to make this EVO 960 bootable you really have to mod the BIOS. The guide actually let you add a NVME express module.
