Sorry for the late reply, for some reason I'm not getting any mails altough I'm subscribed to the topic.
Skylake Xeon 1275-v5, 64GB ECC, Kingston. I can find out the exact type if needed.
Well there's not much config going on in BIOS. Everything is either default, auto or enabled.
The weird thing is everything works. At least the plugged devices.
Thunderbolt is enabled in BIOS but I have no thunderbolt devices.
Since now there's a new error
[ 1.328472] hub 4-0:1.0: USB hub found
[ 1.328474] hub 4-0:1.0: config failed, hub doesn't have any ports! (err -19)
Seems like USB is dying.
W10 error about some recently configured device that is no longer working.
And I disabled the "device" but still get the message on every new boot.
I had the USB3.0 connector plugged in the port most far away from the edge (I don't have a manual handy to exactly tell you what it's named). It worked then stopped working. I thought maybe I pulled it out while closing the case or something.
Well then I opened the case again and unplugged it and plugged it in and it didn't work.
Then I unplugged it and plugged it in the other USB3.0 port.
The USB2.0 connector is not as pretty as the USB3.0 one so it's attachend to some pins and I never had any problems with those.
Stuff that's plugged in works.
Right now there's a mic plugged in Rode NT USB.
On the backside ports a Roccat MK Pro keyboard is plugged into 2 ports in which has 2 USB 2.0 ports builtin.
And a Benq PD3200U which has a SD card slot and 2 USB3.0 ports builtin.
USB3.1 isn't used.
The SD slot is empty.
There's a mouse plugged into the keyboard and a Hyperx Headset.
I believe it's best I contact Amazon to exchange it.
Those errors didn't occur before F20 bios was flashed.
However F1 bios had an error where it would create a new efi boot record on every new boot.
I had to manually delete the boot entries with efibootmgr (almost 200 entries, which also made the boot up process very slow before I deleted them), which is also why I was happy to see that there's a F20 BIOS available.
