I recently put together a computer with the P55A-UD7 board and now before it gets to the BIOS screen, nothing shows up for about 20 seconds and then restarts and all the settings have gone to fail-safe mode. Windows doesn't crash or BSOD, though I have had a couple in the past.
I have RAM running at DDR3 2200, and that's when it does it as the CPU has to overclock itself to 2.92 in order to keep a 2:12 ratio with the RAM. I really don't know what is causing this problem and would like help in getting it fixed without modding the board to keep it from doing this, or if GB will ever set out a BIOS patch to cure this, or if some part is failing. I don't know. Especially for the fact that I bought this RAM and expected it to run at it's rated speed, not downclocked.
Any help is appreciated, thank you.
