GA-z170x-ud5-th and asmedia asm106xv3.1.9.000-whql-driver issues

Hi !
Im a newbee and Ive  tried to install the SonnetTech launches SF3 Series - CFast 2.0 Pro Card Reader, via Thunderbolt 3
0n my mobo. But the downloaded driver asm106xv3.1.9.000-whql-driver wont show up in devicemanager ?

I have the latest bios f22a and thunderbolt drivers 16.1.47.275 from gigabytes support installed.

Please need some advice !

I got info from Gigabytes passport and they told me to download the thunderbolt utiliti and so i did.
in settings i disabled overide first in chain and then the controllers popped up in devicemanager and the sonett cardreader works fine.
