Optical SPDIF Out

Recently i got 1 unit  panasonic sa-he75 receiver from my brother, everythings look good when connect to dvd player to enjoys dts sound. but seem no to avail when i hook up that receiver to my computer (realtek alc888) through optical cable. I've install latest driver for that.  During testing no sound came out. I not really understand the better ways for setup or mybe i over analyzing for this issue. Should any expert out there can help me   :-\ ....thanks

Is your optical output enabled in the BIOS? Do you have a spare cable you can try it with? Have you selected the correct input on the receiver? Try contacting Panasonic technical department.
