I appear having a problem related to the HDMI handshake from GA-H55-SH2 motherboard. When I hook up to the DVI everything works as expected, however when I use the HDMI out, it can take several minutes for an image to appear on my TV. My initial thought is that it is having trouble with the handshake with the TV. If I am patient and wait long enough I will eventually get a picture on the TV. The issue is not related to windows as even from a cold boot I can hit the key to enter the BIOS (typically have to wait about 3 minutes for the handshake to finish) and eventually I will see the Bios screen on my TV. The TV is a Samsung LN-T4042H. Are there any known issue around this? Do i need a firmware update? Any advice on how to fix this issue would be great.
