HD4350 is not know as PCI but as PCI-e X16 @x1

That's because it is a PCIe card. Why it is only saying 1x I am not sure but usually it is because something else is sharing the bandwidth.

My mistake Pierre. Sorry I wasn't aware that they made any of the 4xxx series as PCI.

tested with Catalyst Control Center

report also PCI-Express card and not PCI !!

If i have a little time , i remove this card and i test with another computer

tested with another computer , exactly same report

but with an old S3 / PCI card CPU-z report normal old PCI card

possible BUG because HD4350 is PCI-e capable ??

Are you saying that Gigabyte France wouldn't give you an answer? If so that's not right. I would advise you to contact the manager of the establishment directly.

I am fairly sure that you were right about Catalyst Control Centre reporting it as PCIe2.0 capable because the chipset is even though it isn't running on a PCIe bus.

i have writed in RED characters !!

before using the new GigaByte motherboard ( GA-X58a-UD5 ) i have absolutly not  this problem with my 3 * old motherboards ASUS

P5E WS PRO  , P5K PREMIUM WIFI and P5B WIFI AP , i have used this configuration a long time without this problem

i have reinstalled this configuration some day and run always fine

Finnaly i have 2 new cards --> 2 * HD5770 GFX Single slot functionnality similar to HD4850X2

and no problem i can start with the screen connected to my third card HD4350 old PCI bus

STUPID , STUPID , STUPID

that my motherboard GA-X58A-UD5 cannot run correctly with my beautiful old card HD4850X2 2GO
