Memory Support Lists

Hi all,

I am thinking of building a new computer as my current one is getting a tad old. The old website use to have a list of supported memory for the boards but I can seem to find them anymore.

I am thinking of getting the GA-X58A-UD7 so do anyone know what memory would be best suited to this board? Any price range and also for windows 7 64 bit.

Hi, the memory (QVL) can be found on the Gigabyte site here; http://www.gigabyte.com/products/product-page.aspx?pid=3434#dl

even though it list a certain amount of models, there are many more memory modules that would suit the board that have not been listed. My advice would be to check around some forums and see what others are running on their boards to give you a better clue. I would start with these and you could ask the questions there.

Good luck. I too am thinking about purchasing that board....I am also looking at the Corsair Dominator 2000 stuff...We'll see

I am currently running that board and it is very stable. I have been more than happy with my Corsair Dominator 1600s. They are fast, cool, use XMP  and not too pricey. The only reason I see for going for the 2000s is if you really want to overclock to the extreme.

Well yes agreed, but I just picked up a very cheap i7 965 extreme and I want to punish it LOL!! So yes, I want to overclock it
