Simple Vcore Question

I have the ep45-ud3p with f10 bios, and since I don't OC I want to lower the Vcore to 1.125, but it is greyed out in the BIOS.  Any help?

A little bit more info like the chip, memory etc would be helpfull.

I'm using E8400 with two 2 gig sticks of corsair ram.  I can't find an option to change vcore manually.  I am also running dynamic energy saver in lower power mode.

Right well just a guess for starters but try turning off the Dynamic Energy Saver Mode and see if that makes any difference to your options for Vcore.

Yes looking through the manual I found on page 41 Vcore 1.125v option although you might need to enable Load Line Calibration to be able to access it.

I have the original ep45-ud3p and not the newer revisions.  It doesn't say that on page 41 on my manual or anywhere else in my manual from what I see.  I also don't see any option for load line calibration.

What revision board do you have?

Thanks, I found it. It's on the first page on the BIOS setup, but you have to scroll down for to see the further options.  yikes!

Have you managed to enable the correct voltage now?

Yes, it still worked with the lower voltage, but now I have a new problem with my multiplier being stuck at 6 instead of 9, even when I reset everything to the "optimized defaults."   The multiplier shows 9 when I save and exit, but on reboot it goes back to 6.   I'll write a new post about this.

Yes I have just seen it. Why did you install Easy Tune 6 if you aren't interested in overclocking

Because EasyTune can adjust the Vcore lol
