Hi Everyone,
I just built a new computer with a GA-P55A-UD3, and it locks-up randomly every hour or so. If I stress it with SisSandra Burn-In test, it locks up after 1 few minutes.
Also, when I was installing Windows 7, it took about 2 minutes for each installation screen to switch to the next one, and usually this process is always very quick on other computers. Is this an indication that there's something wrong?
I've tried testing memory with memtest86, replacing memory with another brand, adjusting memory clock/voltages, replacing hard-drive, doing raid1/raid0, updated BIOS to latest one. No luck so far.
Here's my specs:
P55A-UD3
Memory: tried CORSAIR XMS3 DHX 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333
AND G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 4GB (2 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (lots of people on NewEgg reported this G.Skill to work well with mobo)
HD: tried Raptor 150Gb, AND WD 1Tb drives
PSU ANTEC|EA650 RT
CPU INTEL|CORE I5 750 2.66G R
VGA EVGA|01G-P3-1158-TR GTS250 RT
Is there anything else i can try? Any settings on the Motherboard that I can adjust?
Please help.
Thank You
