Functions with Intel Celeron G5905.

When Gigabyte website CPU support list of H470M DS3H sates with Bios update to version F22 full support to new CPU's, motherboard doesn't boot with
CPU CORE I5-11600
CPU CORE I7-11700F + Graphics adapter

Screen remains black until CPU is replaced with Intel Celeron G5905.

Did you try to reset the Bios. That is pull the battery and put a jump on the two Cmos pins for about couple mins. Pull the jumper put the battery back in and try it. Plus just asking does it show the new Bios in the Bios.

With Celeron G5905 BIOS has been verified to be F22.
I did also several CMOS resets to mobo.

Advancement.
CPU CORE I5-11600  later tests I discovered there is no VGA video output but DVI and HDMI are present.
That means  I5-11600 on H470M DS3H can't supply VGA output with BIOS F22.

VGA output was present with Prevoius CPU I5-10500 (don’t have this CPU anymore) and now with BIOS F22 with Celeron G5905

Question why VGA signal is missing I5-11600?

PS. Now also HDMI is present CPU CORE I7-11700F + Graphics adapter (PCIE16 GT1030 2GB GDDR5 GV-N1030SL-2GL GIGABYTE) but it's a next thread why this initial new setup couldn't function.

If I'm reading this right the i7-11700F is working with the Video card? But the i5-11600 isn't?

Does i5-11600 work with a video card. If doesn't work with either onboard HDMI or video card then the CPU could be bad.

The "F" series CPU's don't have graphics in them. That is why ask the i5-11600. It could be a "F" series CPU and could be miss mark.

Finally I received Asrock H510M-HVS motherboard to test i5-11600 CPU graphics and there is no problem with this CPU VGA signal on Asrock motherboard.

Gigabyte H470M DS3H VGA output was present with I5-10500 before BIOS upgrade. After BIOS upgrade to F22 VGA is present only with Celeron G5905. HDMI signal is also present with i5-11600. Don't have I5-10500 anymore for testing with F22.

Looks like Gigabyte H470M DS3H BIOS F22 problem.
