Windows 10, 64 bit (DCH)
« on: June 08, 2018, 05:44:31 am »
In the tab "Driver, Chipset" appeared on Windows 10, 64 bit (DCH) there are drivers:

Intel INF installation (Note) Win10 ver.1709 \ ver.1803 supported and Intel Management Engine Interface (Note) Win10 ver.1709 \ ver .1803 supported.

What is this version of Windows DCH?

Moreover, according to the checksum, these drivers are the same as "no DCH" versions..  ???

Does it mean that it does not matter which one will be installed? If so, why did a separate tab appear on DCH?

That explains a lot but the most important thing is not: having a regular computer at home with Windows 10 x64 which drivers should be installed with DCH or without DCH, and if that does not change why Gigabyte placed them separately?
Maybe someone from Gigabyte will speak?

It is very strange that nobody knows who these DCH drivers are for.

When I write "Gigabyte" I mean every person who is associated with this company - You probably are connected with Gigabyte, are not you?

DHC controllers are directed to OEMs. At home, it is recommended to use controllers without DHC marking.

You need to take an amendment that English is not my basic language ...

And by the way, Norton Security found a virus in one of the files in the new DCH drivers.

sorry to bring this old topic back from the dead but DCH could also mean the following:

The acronym DCH refers to the design principles i.e. Declarative, Componentized and Hardware Support App.

DCH stands for Declararative, Componentized, Hardware Support Apps, and is a type of driver package that Microsoft designed for Windows 10.

in other words, DCH is a new "driver format"
