Gigabyte H55M-USB3 perfectly working but I hear no BEEP at startup POST. Why?

As in subject.
I connected to my perfectly working mobo H55M-USB3 a speaker to hear the correct beep of regular POST. But no beeps come from the speaker.
I'm sure absolutely sure that my speaker works (I connected it to other mobos to hear them at POSt and understand if they had problems) and that I connected the buzzer in the right way (on the 4-pin "speaker" space in "front panel" pins on the motherboard).
Maybe I have to enable in some way the beeps? What could be the problem?
It's only a curiosity for me  (My mobo works and the system is fully working).

Thx for your answer.. but... the first thing I thought was that I just reverted the connector and tried in both ways. Nothing, and I tried with two different (and working) buzzers.
Could it be possible that some bios settings does not provide initial beep? (for example "quick post", or similar).
I just turned my bios to default settings.

It seems impossible to me. Just every mobo I tried over the years was beeping!!

If the BIOS is posting successfully then it should emit a single beep. Obviously as long as you have no other problems then it would appear that there is nothing to worry about. However I wouldn't be happy knowing that it should beep but didn't. You could always insert a "problem" onto the board and see what happens eg remove the graphics card and see if it beeps when you try to POST.

I will try right now. As I use integrated vga, I will try with removing RAM.

I tried removing my RAM, and beeper worked! Abnormal POST was reported.

So I tried again to better understand. In the end => PROBLEM SOLVED
I'm 99% sure it's due to "QUICK POST" activated (you  can choose this options in BIOS).
If you choose QUICK POST => ENABLED, your motherboard does not beep to say OK if there is no problem.
If you choose QUICK POST => DISABLED, your mobo will beep even to say "everything it's ok".
