Hi guys, I just built my new rig and running into the issue that it is randomly rebooting
- GIGABYTE X670 AORUS ELITE AX (rev 1.3) BIOS FB3c
- Ryzen 7950X3D
- Gigabyte Radeon RX 7900 XTX GAMING OC 24G GPU
- CORSAIR VENGEANCE DDR5 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 6000MHz CL36 AMD EXPO memory
- Samsung 970 EVO SSD 1Tb
- Corsair RMx Series (2021) RM1000x 1000 Watt PSU
Issue is that computer reboots randomly, especally when idle. Windows Event viewer shows only "The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly."
This is a clean install, new hardware, Windows 110 Professional.
So no BSOD, no error message, just a reboot. RGB and fans don't even flicker.
I've tried removing RAM sticks one at a time, different SSD, running without GPU (onboard HDMI only) but to no avail. I have read about other people having the same issue but no easy solution. I would expect this to be a BIOS issue??
All drivers are installed from Gigabyte support pages (incl latest chipset).
Very strange is that it seems to happen every 10 mins or so, even when the PC is idle, restarted and I haven't even logged in again it will restart after 10 mins.
Attached is a screenshot showing the Critical events in windows. There are no other errors in the event log.
I hope someone can help.
