Well a good start at least. I notice that you are in Isreal. I don't know much about the power source out there but I am assuming it is stable and the supply voltage is correct? You are in the army so you are not running it off a generated source are you?

I must say I am running out of ideas. Of course it is always possible that it is a CPU or motherboard fault. Actually talking about motherboards it might be worth checking the CPU socket for any bent pins. They are very small and flimsy so you will have to be carefull and use a magnifying glass to examine them properly. Obviously be carefull of static electricity.

1 question though.
i removed the cpu and i think it was misplaced (by direction, for example the upper side of it was placed on the right side of the socket).
is it possible? if so, what are the correct directions?

EDIT: nevermind - cant insert the CPU another way...
so any other moves or should i call this mobo a failure?

I don't know if it's even physically possible to locate it wrongly because there are two lugs one on each side to lacate on. Besides I don't think it would have worked at all if that was the case. It may not have been seated well however. Any way check the pins next. As I said they are very small and you will probably need a magnifying glass.

Now why are you messing about with the CPU on you new computer... ::)

EDIT: could dynamic energy saver 2.0 be causing this?
Go uninstall it that thing is not really needed anyway.

Because I told him to check the socket pins Peter. ;) Yes I'm with Peter on this one, don't use any of the supplied software. More trouble than it's worth >:(

Can you get another card from some where even if its PCI-e 1.x to test? What with the new PSU you got now you can stick anything in their to test.

I am afraid it's impossible for me to put there any other GPU since I was unable to remove this one.

You should be able to remove the graphics card. Just use the little white lever near the inboard end to unlock it and remove the screw from the other end.

I know they can be stiff sometimes but if you push in the little white lever and then rock the card gently back and forth with it held in you should be able to remove it. You have taken the cables off first?
