next step: maybe heat? computer running on 40-50C while idling tho...
Yes enough heat applied to your expert should do the trick ;D

That's quite hot but being in your location I am not surprised. The temperature isn't unduly hot though. What is it when you are actually using it?

Well I hate admitting I might have beeen wrong(along with several other members of this forum) but your problem could possibly be your monitor after all. I have just had another thread where this was the case :o Please see here for details:

I still find it hard to believe but you can't argue with the facts.

Gave it to my "expert", he has tested it on his own desktop and he still had that problem... came back with new MOBO - same prob. darn. no idea what the hell is this...

Got an idea tho. gonna clone my desktop, see if both monitors lock up. i'll come back with the results.

So did your "expert" not have any explanation for the problem? He just gave it back to you not working?

Hey,  that's a good one ::)
Well I will have a read through the whole thread again and see if there is anything that I can spot that we might have missed. :-\

By the way did you manage to remove the graphics card in the end?

If he didn't manage to remove the graphics card how did he replace the motherboard? It makes me wonder if he has actually replaced it or just told you he replaced it!

I had someone else with a similar setup and problem with you that you might like to take a look at: http://forum.giga-byte.co.uk/index.php/topic,2162.60.html
I think we managed to sort it ouit in the end by disabling the power saving feature but we will see.

I wasnt able to remove the card, now I tried again and I succeeded. and yes he DID replace themobo because I can see also sorted out all the cables.
If I'll be able to boot the PC i'll try disabling those settings you mentioned.

thanks.

If you have managed to remove the GPU it would be worth trying to borrow one from a friend etc to swap out or even try yours in a friends machine.

This is similar to the problem I was telling you about. If you can get into the BIOS try disabling those power saving settings.
