Gigabyte GA EX58-UD5 , question about RAM Memory

Hello guys.
I have the mobo Gigabyte GA EX58-UD5, with 3 GB DDR3 Corsair. When i restart the PC, it's shows 1066 MHz. In BIOS, too.
Everest shows 1333 MHz.
After i installed Easy Tune, now it's shows in BIOS 1066 MHz, and to the right side, 1120 MHz.
When i restart the PC, now is 1120 MHz, instead 1066 MHz.
I did another WEI in Windows 7, first i got the note 7.4  and now after the frequency increased ( ?? ) i have 7.6
That's not bad, some people said to me. But i don't remember to OC the Ram Memory. Anyway, the question is :
How could i modify in BIOS, the frequency to 1333 MHz ?? I can't acces the option, there.When i navigate there with the keyboard arrows, it skips that option.
Someone recommended me to change from 1066 to 1333 Mhz, and he said " 1120 is no default frequency "
What would you suggest, guys ?? Please give me some advices.

Hi and welcome to the forum. Would you mind updating your profile which can be found at the top with your location please. It can make it easier to answer if we know where the poster is.

As you have been told the 1120 is not a recognised frequency in the JEDEC set. I would try and run at 1333 if you can. From your post you are using WEI and Everest as benchmarks/ reporting software. These are not always that reliable especially the WEI.

Can you list you exact hardware especially the memory so we can get a better idea of the problem?

Thanks. That's the point i asked here : how tu run at 1333 MHz ? I mean, how can i change it to 1333 MHz ?
In BIOS i don't know exactly what to do, or how to change that.

Right now we know where we are it is better. I have checked the Corsair website and your memory is on the QVL for this board so that is a good start. Next you need to go into the BIOS when you are booting and go to the MIT page. Scroll down until you come to Dram Timing Selectable or Advanced Dram Features and change them from the default "auto". You can  then select your settings but be carefull.

LE : i went in BIOS. Dram Timing Selectable is AUTO (QUICK and EXPERT are the further options )
 In Advanced Dram Features are a lot of options, there. I don't exactly know how to fix that.

Of course! Anytime you play around with BIOS settings something can go wrong. It is a very powerfull tool. For example if you set the Voltages too high you can have a nice meltdown. As with anything like this you have to understand what you are doing.

No there is no ready made tool but it is not that difficult. I just wanted to warn you that you can't go playing around with BIOS settings.

First just make sure that you have the modules installed in the correct slots - 1,3 & 5. Next go into the BIOS and select the MIT page. Then scroll down to Advanced Frequency Options and select Advanced CPU Core Features under it. You then need to look for the two feature sets below and adjust them to your memory settings.

System Memory Multiplier (SPD)
Allows you to set the system memory multiplier. Auto sets memory multiplier according to memory SPD data. (Default: Auto)

Memory Frequency(Mhz)
The first memory frequency value is the normal operating frequency of the memory being used; the second is the memory frequency that is automatically adjusted according to the BCLK Frequency(Mhz) and System Memory Multiplier settings.

Ok,Dark Mantis.Thanks a lot.
I went through BIOS, again. I didn't modified nothing, just wrote on the paper, to explain to you.
So, first step : in M.I.T and then System Memory Multiplier ( SPD ) it's set to AUTO.
I can change to : 6.0 / 8.0 / 10.0 / 12.0 and so on. I tried to 6.0 first. Frequency was lower.About 800 Mhz, i'm not sure. So i tried to 8.0 and 10.0
If i set to 10.0 , is NOT 1333 Mhz. It's 1400 Mhz. Is that danger ? Like i said, i didn't modified nothing.
Next step : i scrolled down to M.I.T.  to Advanced DRAM Features - pressed ENTER - and System Memory Multiplier ( SPD )
There are exactly the same options. 6.0 / 8.0 / 10.0 / 12.0
Now is set to AUTO, but i'm affraid to put it on 1400 MHz, that's higher than 1333 Mhz.
 
What am i doing wrong there ? I followed exactly like you said, but i can't set exactly to 1333 Mhz.

Actually not the best way to do it, sorry. Go into the BIOS and select the MIT page. Then scroll down to Advanced Memory Options and select
DRAM Timing Selectable change the setting from "auto" and then this will enable you to set your memory timings to what is printed on the side of the modules which if memory serves me rightly is 7-7-7-20 @1066

I can't set it to 1333 MHz.
So i leave it like it is now. Is that "bad" if it shows 1120 MHz at startup ?!

I don't understand why it is showing 1120 at startup but no it won't hurt. You should be able to set it to 1066 or 1333 though.

As i said, i can't set it exactly to 1333 Mhz.
1400 MHz or lower than 1333 MHz.
