OK, Sorted out my cold boot (sometimes),
Removed everything and the Cmos battery, jumper on the clear comos pins,
Done a low level format on the 320 gig Hard drive,( took ages)
Cleaned the memory pins with a pencil rubber
refitted everything, reinstalled xp, mobo drivers an all,
Seems Ok for the mo
Now first thing sat morning, will be the test
Ha just found out where the topic can be locked
